COVID-19

At Thrive Pediatric Therapy, your comfort and safety is our top priority. Here are some steps that we are taking to ensure that our office is a safe place for your family:

  • During therapy sessions, our speech-language pathologists wear clear face masks (so children can see our mouths when modeling speech and language skills) as well as clear face shields.
  • At this time, all adults are required to remain masked when in the office, including treatment rooms and common areas.
  • Children over the age of 2 are encouraged to wear masks in common areas, such as the waiting room. When your child is taken back into their individual treatment room, their mask may be removed at your discretion. Your speech-language pathologist will continue wearing her mask and face shield.
  • All toys, games, and furniture are sanitized between patients.
  • If your family chooses not to utilize our common waiting room, you may remain in your vehicle until the start of your child’s session. You will receive a phone call to inform you that your speech-language pathologist is ready for you. You will then be taken directly into a treatment room without having to wait in the common waiting area. If this is your preference, please inform your speech-language pathologist.
  • If you prefer to remain socially distant, we provide teletherapy services that can take place over a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Your safety is our priority.
